Motion Graphics and 3D Design

A motion designer and 3D artist based in Glasgow, working across animation, visual storytelling and digital environments.
I am a motion graphics and 3D designer with an MSc distinction from Glasgow Caledonian University and a BA in Communication Design from Glasgow School of Art. I care about work that does something, not just looks good.
My background spans motion graphics, real-time 3D environments, brand, and digital content. Currently based in Glasgow and open to new opportunities.
Glasgow School of Art. Specialising in 3D and motion. Scholarship to OCAD University, Toronto.
Glasgow Caledonian University. Distinction. Dissertation with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.
Motion graphics, real-time 3D, brand and digital content.
I studied Communication Design at Glasgow School of Art, where I was the only student in my year awarded a six-month sponsored scholarship to OCAD University in Toronto, Canada. That experience pushed me into 3D and motion before most of my peers had considered it.
My MSc dissertation was a live research project with Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. I built a real-time 3D visualisation of the proposed Clyde Metro Govan Interchange in Unreal Engine 5. A study with 31 participants showed public understanding of the proposal nearly doubled after viewing it. That kind of impact is what I am here to make.
Understanding scores rose from 1.7 to 3.5 out of 5. 77% of participants reported greater confidence after viewing the visualisation.

Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter, Maya. Building environments detailed enough to change how people understand proposals. The Clyde Metro project was the proof of concept. I want to keep going.
Every animation should do something. Not decorate, not fill time. I think about why something moves before I think about how. That discipline came from GSA and it shapes everything I make.
The most interesting work starts by questioning the question. I am drawn to projects where the real problem is sitting just underneath the stated one. That is where the good stuff lives.
